In 1955, a racer called Cal Niday crashed against a wall during the Indianapolis 500. The impact fractured his skull, but his BELL helmet saved his life. Over the years, BELL earned enough trust to make the name BELL synonymous with motorcycle helmets. In those days you didn’t have a helmet, you had a BELL.
In Grand Prix racing and in motocross, many racing heroes have worn BELL throughout their career, namely: Kenny Roberts, Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey, John Kocinski, Joel Robert and Jeremy McGrath.
Today BELL is fully dedicated to the world of motorcycle helmets. The spirit of invention born in the garage behind Roy Richter’s old Bell Auto Parts store is alive and kicking.
